Get to Know the Founder and Her Mission
Teresa Shaffer, MPH
"To send out Laborers into His harvest." Matthew 9:38
Meet Teresa
Raised in northern Middle Tennessee and now proud to call south-central Kentucky home, I've spent my career serving rural communities through healthcare, public health, nonprofit work, and state government.
With a Master of Public Health and experience managing state and federally funded initiatives, I bring a practical understanding of both the funding landscape and the day-to-day realities organizations face as they serve their communities.
Today, I partner with mission-driven organizations to identify and pursue funding opportunities that strengthen communities and improve lives.
Why This Work Matters
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working alongside organizations and leaders who are deeply committed to serving others. I've witnessed the difference mission-driven organizations make in the lives of individuals and families, and I've seen the opportunities that become possible when vision and resources come together.
Over the years, I've developed a deep appreciation for the people and organizations that quietly and faithfully strengthen our communities. I believe some of the most important work in our towns and neighborhoods is being carried out by those serving others.
Rooted in faith and guided by a commitment to stewardship, I view grant writing as more than a service—it's a partnership. But it is also personal. This is where I live and work. These are my communities, and I care deeply about the people who call them home. Helping organizations secure the resources they need is my way of giving back.
Serving those who serve others.

What You Can Expect
Partnership
I believe the best grant proposals begin with listening. Every organization has a unique story, and I enjoy learning about the vision, mission, and goals that drive the work you do. My role is to come alongside your organization as a trusted partner and help connect your vision with funding opportunities that align with your mission.
Integrity
I believe in honest communication, transparent pricing, and ethical grant practices. I charge flat fees based on the scope of work and do not accept contingency fees or percentages of grant awards.
Stewardship
I believe resources are meant to be used wisely and well. Whether pursuing a new funding opportunity or managing an existing award, I approach each project with care, professionalism, and a commitment to helping organizations maximize their impact.
Encouragement
The work you do matters. Grant funding can feel overwhelming, and setbacks are part of the process. My hope is not only to provide practical support, but also to offer perspective, celebrate successes, and remind organizations that they don't have to navigate the journey alone.
